Tactons, the dynamic and adaptable buttons, act out a behavior of shape and movement on the morphing surface,
to represent in a tactile manner the different types of available information.
Tactons can be used for example, to distinguish between information that refers to people, from one that refers to media, to one that refers to events...
The display area on the surface is mapped to a certain "sensitive bubble" around the user.
A Geo-tag entering the "bubble" would be displayed as a Tacton in relation to its distance from the user.
As the user passes by the Geo-tag the Tacton moves along the display area and eventually exit it when the Geo-tag is out of the "bubble". |
