Already today, as we move through the city, Geo-tagged information as free internet accesses, Google-maps tags, cellphones alerts on friends or strangers passing by - is available through wireless networks.
The Tacto Phone is a cell phone interface that allows "on the go" and "In the pocket" interaction with such information.
Using Tacto Phone means not having to slow down, stand still or gaze at a screen before knowing if the approaching information is worthwhile.
A morphing surface embedded in the back side of the phone dynamically renders and displays adaptable buttons called Tactons.
They allow filtering Geo-tagged information through touch and give access to an audio preview when pressed. |
