WHAT IT IS WHY IT MORPHS
Is the internet flat? Looking at a website from 3D perspective exposes qualities of the information hidden behind its links. The topographic maps that emulate bumps on Info Terrain's morphing surface, are add ons to the web-page graphical interface (with its architecture, hierarchy, navigation, etc.). As screens are becoming more and more overloaded with information other peripheral can share this load in presenting information.
what would possibly these maps represent through bumps? A bump can tell a user what is the size of a download behind a link, how many people are now viewing the web-pages linked to through a link, how does google rank it, is it popular in delicious, or is it part of a cluster of websites with similar theme...
