With Bubo's "magic" power a kid can cast spells and take control over innocent devices or other kids toys around him.
Bubo's spells are made possible through IR remote controls of the kind you find in many homes like TVs, stereos, air conditions, computer accessories, etc...
Bubo can take control over such appliances by constantly sniffing, intercepting and learning IR remote control commands to acquire their functionalities.
Bubo is a toy for kids between 5-7, most likely boys, as for them the theme of control is a major play pattern.
